    Great shoe but color was not what I expected
    You can tell right away that the Ecco Helsinki 2.0 Slip-On is made with high-quality leather and materials. The craftsmanship feels solid, and the shoe itself feels built to last—comfortable, durable, and well-constructed. However, the picture online was very different than the color I received. The picture online is similar to a tan or honey color. But, the actual color is more of a dark brown. I would have preferred the honey color as shown online.The only issue I have is with the color. The cognac shade shown online looks lighter and more tan, but in person, it’s actually a darker brown. Still, it’s a great-looking shoe overall—just not the exact color I expected.

    DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES!!!
    These shoes have been redesigned and do not fit well any more as the Helsinki 1.0 did, that I previously owned (they have changed the shoe name as well). They now have only one version of this Ecco shoe and they are TIGHT!!! In addition, if you want to return these, they come from GERMANY and to return them back to Amazon you must send them to SLOVAKIA—and pay $50-$100 postage!!! Amazon will only reimburse you $20 for shipping a return back. There is NO information on the Amazon site for these shoes that indicates you must return them to Slovakia and pay exorbitant shipping…this is only explained when you try to return them. I spent 30 minutes at least on the phone with Amazon complaining and they could not (???) change the return order. So I cancelled the return and will be donating these shoes. By the way, they are now only $118 after I paid $145 for them…my loss and stupidity at trusting Amazon AT ALL!!! DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES!!! ECCO IS NOW A BAD BRAND!!!

    This pair is solid, like my previous pair lasted about ten years, worn daily. The leather and the sole are thick. One warning for people unused to thick leather: They felt too small when I first put them on (as usual with leather), but before returning them, I wore them around the house a day. They conformed and the fit is perfect.
