    Fit guide accurate
    I rarely buy shoes online because I never seem to get the fit right. I was especially nervous because these shoes are for my son, and we struggle to find his correct size even in-person at a shoe store. But in a small town, it’s nearly impossible to find plain, black, leather shoes, that fit well and are comfortable, in youth sizes.My husband and I have lots of experience wearing Merrill’s Jungle Mocs. We’ve both had 2 pairs of our own, and loved them.I used the size chart provided on Amazon, carefully measured my son’s feet, and nervously placed my order, “guess”timating about 1/2 cm extra “room to grow” in.The shoes arrived in Merrill’s typical great quality, and the fit was Exactly how we wanted, a tiny bit of extra space in the toe for him to grow into over the winter.

    Good for flat feet
    My son has very flat feet. We’ve had to go to the doctor for it. We were told to get arch supports and that Keen’s and merrell’s have good arch support for kids with severe flat feet. We bought these shoes because of the arch support until his ensoles arrived. He has not complained of his feet hurting as much as he normally would wearing this shoe.

    Clunky and uncomfortable
    Returned these. Can’t figure out why so well rated. Ugly. Uncomfortable. Come too high on the upper foot. Odd bottom and stance. Ruined the old version for this-can’t figure why.

    The shoe is somewhat narrower than expected. I’ve been buying mocks for 15+ years and this is the first time I have not had a comfortable fit.
