Stylish, not bulky, true to size.
Very comfortable, non-slip rubber sole, great quality shoes for outdoor, look stylish and not too bulky, true to size. I ordered the pink ones for my granddaughter. She loves them.

These are perfect for my 6yo…Re: SizeTrue to size. I debated sizing up so she could wear them longer, but per REÍ, etc., hiking boots should fit snug to prevent the feet from sliding and causing blisters, etc. So, we went with her current sneaker size and these shoes are pretty much exactly the same size.My daughter picked the super girly colors of course and loved them!Re: price, etc.We also debated getting her the more expensive Merrells, since we do moderate hikes about 3-4 times a month, but decided on these given they are considerably cheaper…and since we know she’ll outgrow them. We’re in SoCal, so don’t really need “waterproof” boots, and haven’t tested that yet…Review post first use:They are lightweight, but sturdy and my daughter said comfortable (even on her first use). We did a moderate hike with lots of loose dirt and rocks, including some steep sections- my daughter did great in them! Previously she’d used her Nike’s, which caused her to slip and slide all over the place- needing more assistance on hard sections of trails, these boots absolutely helped! She did very well and had zero complaints at the end of the hike. They also cleaned up nicely.Summary- worth it for a little explorer! Good price for a kids boot, especially if on a budget. Get the kid’s current shoe size.

These shoes are exactly what my kid needed
Edit: December 2024, originally reviewed at 5 stars 1 month ago. Dropped the review a star, they got to the point of needing to be washed and I noticed then that the fabric over the toes was starting to crack on each shoe and the bungee fastenings were also coming apart. Disappointing, but they’re still totally functional and took quite a bit of abuse. Still would buy a second pair.Do you also have a wild child that tears through their shoes at a rapid pace? Here are the shoes they need. I have a second born that acts like shoes grow on trees, recently got her a cute sequined pair of Skechers that lasted about two weeks before they started falling apart and looking absolutely trashed.Thought I’d try a style of shoes that are marketed as being rugged and these aren’t the cutest style ever, but man do they deliver. And she loves them, says they don’t make her slip. I think that’s not only because of the sole, but the fact that it helps stabilize her ankles while playing. Got these a month ago and she’s worn them pretty much everyday. Has two recesses a day at school, always playing outside and acting feral at home, etc… and this is what they look like today. They could use a general grime wipe down, but you see how the sole is still attached? How the fabric isn’t ripped? I’m so impressed. The bungee adjusters have a couple of snags, but she literally climbs on everything and in general treats her body like early 2000’s era Steve-O and Johnny Knoxville. Sizing was spot on and the toe box seems plenty wide. This tutu loving kid is happy to reach for these over her previous flimsy slip on Mary jane style shoes, and if you have one that fights you on clothes and shoes, you know this is a win.

The grip gave my girl more stability and courage on rocky terrain
They’re a bit tough to get on, but once on they’re great little hiking books. I love the ankle support. My girl felt very safe, fast and was even more brave on rocks and surfaces that normally make her nervous. She clearly had good grip with these boots. She’ll sometimes say her feet hurt in some shoes after playing all day, but she left these on, all weekend for a camping trip and not an ounce of complaint.

Great shoe; Velcro style is my favorite
The shoe itself is sturdy; my three year old loves his high tops and they’re still in great shape after 6 months of wear.My older kid is harder on shoes; in less than a month he somehow destroyed the elastic pull cord. The woven cover came off of it to expose the elastic underneath; the elastic is now broken. Next time he’s getting regular Velcro. But fortunately the shoe still works thanks to the top Velcro closure; plus I could just replace with either more paracord or regular shoelaces. I don’t think this is a product defect, this is probably just my destructor-child working his magic on yet another pair of shoes. These shoes were great for our Cub Scout campout; he did a three-mile hike in them with no issues. The toes are still in perfect shape and that’s the usual first casualty of his shoes. The insoles and the bottom are holding up well, too. For a month of wear on my high-energy kiddo, that’s a minor miracle. I highly recommend.

waterproof and warm sneakers
These hiking boots are super cute and comfortable for my 7 year old. She loves the color and fit and style. They are slip resistant and easy to put on. She wears them as her daily sneaker now. We recently had a snow storm and the shoes kept her feet warm and dry. Highly recommend them. It has been roughly 5 months of wear and they are starting to crack a bit in certain high movement places. Overall, great purchase

Rotas, sucias, ya se habian usado ☹️ Hasta con una piedrita de un camino. Puse las fotos para que vean el mal estado que nos llegaron. Además muy caras. No esta chido que envíen productos en..al estado
